  • Design Fundamentals and Visualizations: Word Cloud, Time & Motion Chart, Dual Axis Chart, Maps, Map Options, Tree Map, Heat Map, Area Chart, Pie Chart, Field Map, Stacked Bar, Donut Chart, Scatter Plot, Constant, Reference and Drop, Line Chart, Cross Tabulation etc.
  • Forecasting, Trend Analysis, Bin Creation, Group Creations, Text Filters, Number Filters, Date Filters, Drill Down Functionality and Hierarchies, Quick Table Calculations, Logical Calculations (Number, Date etc), IF Condition, Nested IF, Parameters Creation and Control.Dashboard Creation and Storytelling: Fundamentals, Design, Web Integrity, Interactivity.
  • Introduction to Power BI: Interface, Environment, Cards, Filters, Data Connections, Data Types, Aggregation, and Data Transformation.
  • Design Fundamentals: Cards, Filters and Slicers, Drilldown Functionality, Hierarchies, Bar Chart, Stacked Bar, Clustered Column Chart, Clustered Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Donut Chart, Gauge Chart, Ribbon Tree Map, Heat Map, Line Chart, Area Chart, Funnel Chart, Scatter Plot, Tables and Matrix, Other Advanced Charts.
  • Power Query, DAX Functions, and Dashboard.

Dr. Harpreet Singh Bedi is a Professor & Assistant Dean at Mittal School of Business, Lovely Professional University. He has a Gold Medal in MBA. He is recipient of Academic Honour Award in PGDBM. He cleared M. Com. with distinction in university. He is a certified professional for Microsoft Excel (by Microsoft) and Financial Modelling (by NSE, India). Dr. Bedi is an academician with a work experience of over 19 years. Subjects such as Corporate Valuation, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Excel Modelling, and Data Visualization fascinate him. He regularly delivers Executive Development Programs (EDPs) for Industry participants and Faculty Development programs (FDPs) for faculty. He has delivered training programs for Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Chandigarh, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU) – Ludhiana, faculty of CT University, HMV College - Jalandhar, Human Resource Development Centre, LPU etc. Dr. Bedi is passionate about research. He has registered 6 copyrights with Copyright office, Government of India for his novel work. Dr. Bedi has contributed 77 papers (37 papers in Journals and 40 in Conferences) in the field of research. His research area is entrepreneurship. He has presented papers in institutes of national & international repute such as IIM-Ahmadabad, IIM-Indore, IIT- Delhi, IIT-Kanpur, MDI-Gurgaon, IIFT- Kolkata etc. His research work has been cited over 700 times by research community. Dr. Bedi is actively handing the Training and Placement of the students of Mittal School of Business, LPU from last 1 decade.
